THE WORKSHOP
A few times a year we hold an osteoporosis educational workshop where you’ll learn how to: rebuild bone mass safely, improve balance and strength, prevent fractures and reduce pain, and feel confident and capable in everyday activities.
Join our expert-led osteoporosis workshop, designed to help you regain confidence for the activities you love. Not all exercise increases bone mass, which is why this evidence-based class was created to guide you through specific principles and movements proven to help prevent and manage osteoporosis and osteopenia.
This workshop is a one-time introductory 90-minute course. An ongoing group exercise class will be started soon for those interested in continuing this work in a group setting.
This workshop will be offered online as well for those that are not able to attend in person. Let us know if you would like to attend virtually so we can send you the Zoom link.

THE GROUP EXERCISE CLASS
Chris Campbell, DPT leads a weekly exercise class specially designed for anyone diagnosed with osteoporosis or osteopenia. Using scientific research that has shown impressive results, he will guide you to safely perform exercises targeted at managing, mitigating, and even reversing your diagnosis. He recommends having a couple one-on-one physical therapy sessions with him before joining the group class to review your DEXA scan numbers and introduce you to how the program will work and assess any risk factors or precautions. However, this is not required and anyone is welcome to try the class to see if it is a good fit.
